Talent Factory

DWIA's Talent Factory is a link between companies, students and educators. The Talent Factory is set on increasing the knowledge of engineering students about the wind power industry. Furthermore The Talent Factory puts an emphasis on the many different job opportunities within the industry. 

14 of DWIA's member companies make up the backbone of The Talent Factory. The background for the initiative is that Denmark is one of the world leaders in regards to wind power and the industry experiences yearly growth rates of 25-30 per cent. In order t maintain this position the industry has an increasing demand for well qualified labour.

The industry experiences an overall hard competition for young engineers due to factors such as falling general interest for science and engineering.

Lastly a survey among engineering students has shown that there is a limited knowledge about wind power and the opportunities in the industry.

The gathering point is an English web page. Here, among other things, it is possible to get to know more about the wind related educational programs in Denmark, and also the members can engage with the companies behind the Talent Factory and get an insight into the industry.
