Industry statistics

The turnover in the Danish wind industry went up 8,3 percent to 7,4 bn Euros in 2010 compared to 2009. Carried especially by the manufacturers both the exports and turnover went up in 2010, and after a tough 2009 the industry started getting on top again in 2010. 

Turnover
The industry's turnover in Denmark rose by 8,3 percent in 2010 to cumulatively 7,4 bn Euros, compared to 2009's 6,9 bn Euros. 

The global turnover rose to 13 bn Euros, up 8,1 percent from 2009.

Exports
The Danish wind industry exported 11 percent more products and services in 2010 compared to 2009. The total exports were 6 bn Euros. Today, exports from the wind industry represent 8,5 percent of the total Danish exports.

Employment
The number of employees in the industry rose slightly in 2010 to cumulative 25.000.
